Ubuntu fucken sucks cock and so do their "elitists"

Something with a computer goes wrong, and they IMMEDIATELY blame "winblows". Dumb cunts don't realize actually windows is better

I totally agree, Linux is a piece of shit. Sure it's faster, more reliable and more aesthetically pleasing than Windows. But you can't play games on it for fuck sake! And you definitely can't run a dual boot or use a virtual machine or Wine to access Windows applications and features on the same computer.

I tried ubuntu 8.04 agains yesterday and WHAT A PIECE OF SHIT it is. I don't really know where to begin, really.

Setting a refresh rate is a fucken pain in the ass. Oh atleast they were nice to give me 72hz @ 800x600. I search on the forums and threads titled "refresh rate". IT showed up 250 threads. What does that say? It's not just me having issues with something simple as refresh rate.

Next, the mouse cursor has fucken problems. I click on the x to close a window, simple enough right? NO. Clicking on the x actually makes the window JUMP up and down, like a clown. Apparently my friends told me its one of "linuxes" special effects. What kind of shit is this? I click on the x to close a window, not having it jump up and down.

To actually close a window, i had to click IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE and it worked, LMFAO.

Oh look, somebody replied to my refresh rate thread. Too bad most of the linux elitists are fucken idiots.

"60 Refresh rate is well optimal". I had to fucken lecture them that 60 hz is NOT optimal for a CRT. They don't even know the difference between a CRT and LCD. Dumbass elitist cunts.

Next, i try to play some games. Linux has some kind of bullshit firewall / tcp-ip blocker shit that made me take TEN minutes to connect to a server. I set my refresh rate to 100 for the game, AND IT CRASHED

So i wanted to go watch some youtube and i needed to download a .deb file for playing flash videos, alright fine. I download it, it tries to "auto install it" and gives me some bullshit I396 error. Even watching a flash video is so fucken problematic that i have to browse the forums or spend 2 hours?

It took me 4 hours of researching and i found out i needed to add some bullshit lines to my XORG. Oh and everytime u fuck up ur XORG, u gotta reinstall. What a shitty OS.

Hehe... If you're putting yourself in such a mood, maybe linux is not your thing :p

By the way, the xorg.conf can be edited with pico for instance, in a rescue shell, with say, a very basic editor : type in the shell : pico /etc/X11/xorg.conf. Or longer but graphical way : use the live CD, browse your files, then use admin rights to modify them.

Ontop of all this, what the fuck is a SUDO . Can't they come up with a better name than SUDO? Sudo my ass bitch.

Ontop of THAT, why does it fucken ask me for my password for almost every single goddamn task i wanna execute? Anything i do on the computer, it asks me for a fucken password. Where are we? in the fucken matrix? you need to ask my password THAT many times?

Oh great customization in the nvidia panel too. I love it how the only two settings are "Vsync and performance/quality"

Shitty.

I've been using windows for the past 8 years. Sure there's problems here and there, but it's easily fixed/avoidable if you have any computer knowledge.

Linux on the other hard, it takes you 8 years to get it working, HAHAHA

Top 10 Game Technologies of the Next-Generation

Number 9: MIDI

We’re willing to bet that you read MIDI and spat the remainder of your red bull all over the PC screen, right? Well we’re not kidding, while MIDI might be associated with the old school sounds of the IBM 286 games and chunky synthesizer keyboards of times gone by, the word has been out for a little while now that MIDI may make a comeback as the champion of next gen game audio.

Hahaha

In other words, pretty much everyone save a few die-hards refers to "crackers" as "hackers" now. That's how languages evolve; trying to go back to the original meaning of the word would be as pointless and futile as Hormel's attempt to disassociate the word Spam from unsollicited emails. Or, taking your example, as futile as trying to get "gay" to mean happy again.

I worked at a company who shall remain anonymous. I worked there as their security consultant and was in charge of keeping the systems secure.

I noticed that their systems were insecure, I kept telling them that these things will get hacked, I kept telling them that they are wide open. Did they listen to me? No. They kept going on and on, I worked to patch as many holes as I can, but the system was insecure in itself (things like passwords stored in plain text on mysql databases etc...). Fixes I recommended were rejected by management because they would change things from how they were used to, or too expensive, or "but who would want to hack us" responses.

A few weeks ago our external servers get hacked (surprise surprise), and the hacker notifies the company. What do they do? They pay the guy 600 euros per domain (we have a lot of domains) to fix it for us. That dude had the ear of all management, everything he said went, they changed things that I've been recommending to them for months because he said so. And to finish it off, he earned more money in those two weeks working for this company than I did in the last 6 months, to make fixes I've been telling them to do since I got the job.

F*ck it, in future I will just break into computers and then offer them a huge fee to fix them, It seems to pay more to do it that way. The company didn't call the police, just kept it as quiet as possible so word didn't get out.

Posting anonymously for obvious reasons.

Sorry, I posted in a row. Most of these posts are simply copy-paste from other's words found in other sites (mostly slashdot) because I liked something in them. I wouldn't like to open yet another pouet thread for each of them, so I found this place.
