Protracker effects 1 and 2

category: music [glöplog]

when ProTracker handles effects 1 and 2, does it also slide the notes at tick 0 (zero)? Is there a difference if a note is set? Or if a sample is set? I can't seem to find the source code online where this is answered...

Thanks in advance,

Pretty much any type of slide is executed on all ticks but the first, that includes portamentos. No difference if there is a note or not.
Thank you very much!!!

Try going in a ridiculously slow tick speed like F1F. Then you can try all kinds of effects and what happens on tick zero.
