Where can I find MusicDiskMaker?
category: general [glöplog]
Hey all, and happy holidays.
I'm a long-time fan of the demoscene, but have only recently started to think seriously about having some involvment. I'm a tracker by trade, and hope to release some stuff soon.
Wow. DejaVu.
Anyway, I was wondering if anybody knows where I can download Razor1991's MusicDiskMaker? Pouet address:
http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=12525
It seems to be fairly popular, but I can't find it anywhere, and I wouldn't mind playing around with it too.

here is a good and free musicdisk maker replacement.
as a musician you can eventually refer to someone able to use it. good luck.

Ha ha, well thanks- I'll keep that in mind!
don't keep it in mind, code code code!!
I will try to remember to put it up on razor1911.com when I get home from work today ok
dubmood, i suggest you accidentally forget and make the world a better place! (by motivating mr Anaki_Muon to get coding, ofc)
hm, forget what? I dont remember...
btw he needs to learn how to draw anyway?
hm I cant find the 1.66 version from that pouet link, only MusicDiscMaker.v1.5-Razor1911 Ill get back to you when I get in touch with BP
dubmood, you're sooo leeeeeet, i'm gonna worship you for sure..
I'd love to learn to code... but I'll most certainly be learning to draw... and music will always be a major priority too. I just don't want to overload my self and become a "Jack Of All Trades But King Of None", you know what I mean?
As far as MusicDiskMaker goes, well, I don't know what can be done with it, but at the very least it could be used for auditioning an idea to a coder, right? Besides, I'm sure it has gotten quite a few votes on Pouet with good reason, right?
Dubmood, thanks for the help- I appreciate it! And by the way, you're a great musician, and keep up the good work!

I'm sure there's a hojillion graphicans who can make something for him. Bonus points if he just steals a Razor 1911 interface :)

Thank you good sir, you have just motivated me to finally learn c++. See you at Breakpoint '07
fakeaccount, i actually suggested him to team up with some coder to have no need for musicdisk maker - wich was/is otherwise a nice tool.
you can even slave a coder to get something more than a fixed tool can give you, they say ;)

Fakeaccount? No, no... I just don't know how edit everything on here... like where it says what country I'm from.
Anyway- I have absolutely no intention of stealing an interface from anybody, let alone Razor1911. I assume that was a joke though!
And if I can coax a programmer in to helping me put a disk together that would be great! I would still like to play around with MusicDiskMaker, as it has piqued my interest and I would still like to see what it can do, but obviously having a programmer tie everything together would really be awesome. Mind you, operative words in my initial post are " hope to release some stuff soon". I haven't really got enough tracks together in a mod format to put out yet. Soon though... soon though...

so if you really want to learn c++, good :) i can suggest you the books from schildt, maybe your library has one.
hope to see you releasing, as a coder or musician!
btw, can't edit posts - repost with stupid comments relating to: BASS, lobsters, david hasselhof, clue shoppes etc etc. it's the pouet way :D
to change the country contact ps. you won't get the job done, but he'll get pissed off and angry and he'll release more noisedemos <3
And don't forget to come to inerciaDemoparty.

BASSELHOFF???
BASS and "And don't forget to come to inerciaDemoparty." are the most important parts. Don't forget.

Wow. DejaVu. :-p
If you're interested, Anaki_Muon, i could code a basic player (My current code uses BASSMOD, but switching to full BASS or FMOD is not a (big?) problem.)

to change your nationality you need to logon on scene.org and alter it there.
pouet uses sceneID system, which is stored on the scene.org database..

I'm a short-time BASS of the demoscene, but have only recently started to think seriously about having some sex. I'm a lamer by trade, and pope to release some stuff noon.
Wow. DejaVu. :-p
If you're interested, Tolle, i could BASS a BASSic player (My current cat uses BASSBASS, but switching to full BASS or BASS is not a (big?) pussy.)

Best thread ever!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
Geeze, if I had known I would have had this kind of a response earlier I would have probably spoken up and posted something years ago! Ah, what a fool I've been...
I wondered if the BASS you spoke of, makc, was that from un4seen! Cool! I got ideas for a disk title now: BASS Lee's BASS Connection! The Way of the Little BASS! Or Enter The BASS!
inerciaDemoparty? I'd love to go... but that's in another continent for me! Maybe I'll drop by Spain in a couple years when I check out the European block.
I had been making quite a few modules recently with instruments ripped from SNES games... mostly tracks using instruments from Samurai Showdown (which would have been good for a BASS Connection thing-a-ma-jig), but I have started to make a few tracks with instruments from F-Zero. These are original compositions mind you, but ripping is ripping anyway! So, I think I had better get off my duff and start something new!
Oh yeah, and in the vein of chiptunes, I know the Kawai K1m was used back in the day for the genre a lot... and I just picked one up just before Christmas. If anyone's got any advice on anything that works well with, feel free to share...
Oi! I'm ranting!
