And yeah that's just me bitching because someone came up to us 5 minutes before the BASS gig and told us that we can't put up our logo because it resembles the Sig Rune. Jeez.

"fascism is a crime, not an opinion"

Wow! I've ALWAYS thought it was an ideology, who can an ideology be a crime?

I remember dipswitch from older discussions about this, where he claims that USA resques the globe and then Germany learns all about being good to people, and Russia didn't. So now Germany is all good and Russia complete utter crap where people are tortured like animals, not like in the good old USA and Germany!

Yes, I do not think you should open your silly little unshaved mouth dipswitch, youre dog poop, do you hear me? Piss off.

at least i feel like nationalism is growing at finland. some right-wing parties have more popularity and its always like "foreigners came here just to slack and take our women" and then if they have job "foreigners are here to take our jobs" racists never satisfy and claims that foreigners are only ones that make crimes. whatever.. but its just sad.

I think it's happening all over europe actually. Here in Holland people get more and more intolerant towards foreign people, especially moroccons, turks, antilians etc. And these people don't really try that hard to lose certain stereotypes surrounding them and the government is still living in the fifties. This will probably escalate in Holland getting a pretty right-wing government after the next elections.

For a nice example of our set-back government. A politician came with a motion this summer to ban pornsites. Yes, ban pornsites from the internet! not, block them in Holland alone, no BAN THEM COMPLETELY FROM THE INTERNET! she thought that all countries could easily agree on that. (this motion got laughed away ofcourse, but still)

In conclusion, move to Australia!

facism is not a german phenomenon,
racism as either.

Volker Pispers, a well known guy from political kabarett, said once:
"[...] man kann das kombinieren, muß aber nicht [...]
"[...] those can be combined, but don't have to [...]

Stinga surely know which guy I'm talking of...remember
Symphony 04?

either way, have you german lot noticed that all the 20 or so posts you made in direct response to shifter's post actually proved him right?

here's a summary:

SOME NON-GERMAN: "hey, this is a post involving present-day germany and the nazis, that i've an opinion about"
GERMAN A: "MÖÖÖH!"
GERMAN B: "RAAAAAAH!"
GERMAN C: "ILLEGAL!"
SOME NON-GERMAN: "hey come on, you're overreacting, i was merely stating that blabla and not that you're all nazis"
GERMAN B: "RÜÜÜÜÜH!"

Let's not forget that fascist ideologies are hardly believed in by many yet commonly used as an outlet for frustration caused by several social problems. Just as was the case in the second world war, allthough in that case poverty, fear and not biting the hand that feeds you was also a reason. If Hitler would've claimed that the moon was the German's arch enemy people probably would've tried to build a massive rocket and shoot it out of the sky instead of gassing Jews. May sound ridiculous, but there's some truth in that.

Dip, with all due respect, you make it seem as if the Germans are the only ones that have to deal with the aftermath of the Nazi regime. This is not true, not at all. Besides, the only thing I saw here was Nazism being ridiculed. No, not the Germans, but Nazism alone. And that's a good thing, right?

People should spend their time thinking about preserving reasonable wellfare instead of fighting against the problems that arise in a lack thereof.

And if the average German takes any kind of public talk or display of Nazism as a personal insult, then maybe they've taught to feel guilty about something they shouldn't feel guilty about. And that's a bad thing, since there's no reason for almost any German (I take it most Nazi key figures are dead by now) to do so.
