I am a bit curious what music my fellow pouets are listening to, so I have set up a audioscrobbler group:

What is audioscrobbler?

Well, you install a plugin in your favorite music player and it will upload the tracks played to the audioscrobbler server, and we can get a statistics of pouet users that way :)

Yeah, the ~800 bytes it sends per track REALLY uses up all my bandwidth :)

I wouldn't say it's a complete waste of time if you enjoy music. It seems to me that the suggestions it gives to my music taste is pretty accurate.

It would be far more interesting to have a pr0nscrobbler plugin for mplayer. Those results could prove REALLY shocking :P

Get this constantly, so do others. If the winamp users can update, I seriously doubt it's because the submission server is down :)

I actually tought about this (making pouet-group) like a week ago. Yay :)

well, its not so much a privacy issue, as an embarassment issue. but i added myself anyway

the embaraseement would sure be greater if you've listen too Amy Diamond or Arvingarna.

The itunes plugin refuses to count nectarine, so my list is completely off.

I'm prolly not in cuz I haven't logged in for like 3 months. Or logged any.

heh, yeah, I'm not logging anymore, I like my list the way it is right now, with Entombed, KRS-One, Julee Cruise, Altemark, DJ Shadow, the Pixies, Slick Rick & Doug E. Fresh, and Big Bear.

A problem is that by profession I must listen to my own tracks a lot - and that would probably look bad on my profile :)

You can exclude directories from the plugin settings ;)

Just don't tag them then :)
