No, I think pouet is a great place to learn about the scene. One can learn valuable lessons such as: ps is a jerk.

stryx, tbh i'm sick and tired of all the lame-ass bitches who make a "comeback" to preach their "oldskool values" to the "newskool scene". such people generally speaking never were of any major importance to the scene back in the days, and most certainly will not be able to contribute much to the modern scene until they change their retarded attitude.
having said that, there's also lots of ppl on these boards who have been in the scene for only-god-knows-how-long. some of them just never left the scene, others came back after a few years without too much attitude and just started contributing again. that's all cool ofcourse..
