I feel I need a better understanding of who exactly is a typical Poueter. This little poll could perhaps help me with that. I don’t know if this is an appropriate place for this, feel free to educate me. Here goes.

What do you enjoy the most (please grade these 1-4, 1 bringing most joy, 4 bringing least joy):
(A) making prods
(B) consuming prods
(C) attending parties
(D) reaping applause for your prod

Or is this an “apples and oranges” situation for you, and these can’t be graded against each other.

I personally in the past couldn't give a single flying fuck about what place things get in compos. And with my most recent entry, even more so (considering it took 6 months to make, and scored last). To me, just the simple act of making fucking something is way more than enough, just so I can prove to myself I can get a project over the line.

Votes, awards, views, I personally couldn't care less about the social interaction to the prod. To me it just matters a prod exists.

lol, the other way around of course. who makes a scale that caps joy to 1 but makes increasing numbers mean less joy

Is this poll system inspired by usaican voting ballots, since I don't think I've seen this confusing system anywhere else :D

Though apples, oranges, microsofts, byterapers and so on. A, C and D are interconnected - I don't visit parties without a prod and seeing audience reaction is definitely big part of the parties for me, but it's not always applause :D

I can now clearly see how the system is utter shite. But since it was inspired by a glass of wine, it could have been worse. I can’t imagine how, but worse somehow. ;)
