Revision 2026 - The Power Within - April 3rd to 6th 2026
category: general [glöplog]
I'm so glad I chose this to be my first Revision, that was epic. When are the photowall pics getting posted?
nvm they just got posted
What a party. So many fantastic people, so many insanely good prods raising the bars in their respective categories. So little sleep. :)
It was also great to see proven food options returning. All in all I had a blast!
While it appears that the compo night problem has been "fixed" now, the schedule appeared to be even fuller now especially on Sunday afternoon. Not sure how/if that can be fixed, to leave a bit more space for people to socialize. Either way, I think the timetable worked out mostly fine this year.

Back in the US(SA) with a mild sense of disappointment. Great to see the extended family again! I'm still in complete awe of how well Revision is organized. They make it look so easy to pull off, even with dozens of crew members working so hard behind the scenes. I guess 16 years (well, maybe 13* years) provides enough experience. As others have said, BIG kudos for getting the final compo block started not only earlier than previous years, but on time! I know the crew was determined to make that happen, resulting in the surprise compo block pre-ponement. :) Congrats to all Meteorik and compo winners, and thanks to all participants for another memorable experience.
It was a surprise to see that many Americans at Revision, and so cool to see new faces and talent! Bus Error Collective has certainly earned their reputation! Come up to @party in Boston in June if you can. :)
It's hard to think of much to improve on these days... I'd consider the front area seating situation. I know chairs weren't allowed on the two bandstands, for weight or fire code reasons or whatever, but if there is a way to get chairs in the front or maybe some kind of bench seating or sports-style bleachers, please consider it, for the sake of us scene elders. :) I was lucky enough to get a chair for most of Sunday, mainly because I got up there early.

I think this was my best revision so far. The organization was incredibly smooth. And pushing the timetable forward just enough for people to catch the shuttle bus was a killer move.
Thanks a lot for pulling this off year after year.
I wish Deutsche Bahn would be just half as structured. Then I wouldn't have to skip the prize-giving ceremony.

Because phoenix mentioned the chair-situation there’s one thing I ask myself for several years now: What’s the point with these stairs to the left and right of the bigscreen? They aren‘t cozy and you cannot lean back properly. I understand that not every party can have something like the cozy stairs at Evoke, but maybe it’s time to get rid of them and make more space for chairs, especially when the center have to be chair-free.
Every year I think I should bring an inflatable sofa, every year I forget...
Ach so; und Havoc: DANKE für die "Häppchen". Always much appreciated <3
The first time I experienced a "Prelay" at a demoparty :D
It felt so good to see all the kewl ppl again and knowing that the organizers were taking a mature approach to the sensitive topic before the event, I was able to really switch off and fully immerse myself in the party. Thank you very much for this extra effort.

What's with that ASCII crime in the Revision results file? jeeez..
Thank uuu to everyone!! Was a blast :)
It's my third revision, but also my favorite one (helps that some really good friends came :))
I know I complained about the lasers/fog during VJ sets, but I did miss them this year, especially when the screen wasn't too interesting...
I could also complain that the sub bass wasn't obnoxiously loud, but I'm a junkie haha.
Finally there's the thing that happened, hopefully doesn't happen next year.
Big up to all the orgas and ppl submitting prods :)

Hm, idea - water tap next to coffee. (not sure about other people, but i refill cups/bottles with water all the time, and it's a bit unpleasant in bathroom)
