I'm interested in this. We'll just have to wait for a response from kapsel with the "weapon of choice".
I think we'll be waiting a long time as they appear to be a staunch negative commentor with zero production experience.
It seems like this guy wants to get a ton of experience handling criticism before even releasing his first demo.
If mister chad jippidy doesn't have the balls to come and set some rules, I guess that means "no rules".
I gotta say, this is starting to feel like a gang up. Kinda.

No, I just don’t like the “gangupy” feeling I got. I was actually the first one who expressed annoyance with the style of kapsel’s communication and pulled a Voight-Kampff on him/her. While the gang was still unsure about it all. Calculating, weighing. Plus, “necrothumbdowning” an old prod actually helps its visibility, so… Oh, and I can always self up-vote back, as someone demonstrated recently.
I kept it cool because I really thought there was an honest person behind those noisy posts, we all have our own way of expression. Then I turned to other threads and saw an awful load of bullshit only an AI could craft so yeah, troll detected. The situation is so goofy that I think it deserves a demo. No one's trying to push anyone to suicide here I think.

As I said before, with Pouet you don't really need to pay attention to thumbs up and down.
The thumbs just gauge how the populace see your prods, when really in a creative medium, you should focus on how *you* like *your own* work. To me, if you are happy with a creative work you did and grew in some way (how little that may be) from it, thats all that matters.

These voting systems have likely always been a substantial inhibiting factor for creativity in the demoscene. (And still i cannot quite fathom what kind of personal satisfaction or whatever people derive from thumbing down prods.)

Properly prepared, I find it to be a very enjoyable root vegetable.
Don't care much about kohlrabi. I find other brassica cultivars much more enjoyable, most notably the fractal flower aka Romanesco broccoli.
I love kohlrabi sliced in the manner to mimic bamboo shoots, wok prepared to maintain crunch. Broccoli and cauliflower I unfortunately cannot eat because there's something in them that smells/tastes repulsive to me.

You can vibe code small JS/WebGL demo in 30min or so. Not that it's gonna be so great, but you can create everything including music via prompt (like in this example).

Why even bother if it's neither gonna be great nor is it going to feel like your work? I don't mind seeing objectively "bad" demos in compos when they're firsties and showcase an "this is how far i came, and it's so much better than nothing" effort. But wasting actual earth resources for a shit result like this is just making me sad.
I'd rather see bad (first) demos made by actual people, those give me hope at least. This is the opposite of hope. Fuck this.
