Feels like performance took a bit of a nosedive, loading’s kinda laggy now.
No complaints though, just a friendly bug report from a fella...

Yes, something is amiss with performance. The bottom of the page says it has been created in 16 milliseconds or whatever, yet it can take randomly 1–2 seconds or even more before I actually start getting any bytes. It's hard to make consistent; it seems to come and go a bit.
Wireshark complains about the occasional spurious TCP retransmission (indicating ACKs are lost on the way to the server), but I don't know if this would be enough to explain it.

yeah, the page creation times seem normal but the webserver is laggy as fuck
Yes. There is lag.
OK, I can make a zillion guesses, but at this point, I guess it won't help much :-) At least we know it affects a bunch of people.

To load pages like the main page or the BBS's it takes around 10 seconds for me :(
