A notice to those who plan to come. Don't know about this year, but in the last years it was very hard to get affordable hotel rooms in the area, due to various overlapping events. So maybe you should consider to book them a little bit earlier.

Long story short: Very likely there won't be a 256 byte compo.
We discussed (like we did last year) whether or not we can / should host one at Evoke - with the result of the discussion being essentially "we do not have a compo organizer for it" and "the time table is very tight already" - so the implication of having 256b would likely be that we'd have to cancel another compo.
That does not mean we're not open to hosting one, we'd just need someone willing + capable of organizing it :)
