Here is the two part demo show I made for TRSAC 2015.
It's all captured in 50 fps (including the PC ones) and all of them (except Offline Colonies that Gargaj did as .kkapture refused to play along) is my own captures and it's a mix of Amiga, C64, PC and one Megadrive demo
I added a small info pop-up at the start of each demo as well (platform, name, demo compo placement)
I worked quite hard on getting this to have the highest possible quality and I'm quite happy with the result.

If more people have awesome lists, I just want to point out that Pouet has a cool feature where you can make/edit/share playlist: http://www.pouet.net/lists.php
Keep 'm coming, great way to discover hidden gems.

So good!
After the bünzli rebooted event in Bern, Switzerland, we've been running a series of demoshows - usually combined with a scene-related presentation or workshop - called Demonights. I've mostly been using Workflowy (e.g. Demonight 007) to track and share the playlists, because it lets others on the team make edits. Something that Pouët's lists sadly don't seem to allow?
Thanks for sharing your lists - the demoshow must go on ! <3

Just wanted to voice my appreciation for this thread. The demoshows at deadline are always my yearly go-to for finally getting to watch the curated good stuff on the big screen.💜
At Sommarhack 2024 we thought we'd try something different. Instead of the usual and "boring" best of lists, we chose the theme of "Demos that placed last in competitions"
#01: ”016” SpaSTiba
#02: ” 24 Minutes Screen” Scum Of The Earth
#03: ”Bacon” Vulkteamet
#04: ”Indecision” SMFX
#05: ”Black Sheep” Psycho Hacking Force
#06: ”Boinx” Total Vision Incorporated
#07: ”Kaleidoscope ST” TOS-Crew
#08: ”Babelfish” the Sirius Cybernetics corporation
#09: ”Twitching Flannels” Torment
#10: ”Gave It A Try” Effect
#11: ” Game-of-Life 3D” Tecer
#12: ”BITS #0061” BITS
#13: ”Hypnodot” MJJ Prod
#14: ”The Incantation #1” The Eristic Principle
#15: ”All I Have To Offer” Aggression
#16: ”Just Jack” Joker
#17: ”Katchat” Pyjama
#18: ”FirSTro” Lamers
#19: ”Mon Kiki C’est Le Kiki De Tous Les Kiki” Frenchies gwEm Company
#20: ”Oh God AKA Rasterblaster” Inter Development
#21: ”Skit” Live!
#22: ”Debut” SPKR
#23: ”Stig Demo 3” Youghurt
#24: ”SV2011” Paradox
#25: ”Sweety” Dead Hackers Society
#26: ”Tut!” Wildfire
Apart from the obvious gag that the list isn't filled with horrible things (which is by itself food for thought), there is an extra gag that the list was chosen so that most of the demos shown had members of their group(s) at the party.

...finally getting to watch the curated good stuff
I can only agree with that.
Unfortunately curation was lost when we moved from mail trading to the Internet.
