RIP thanks for modarchive and all

I barely knew the chap and it still hurts.
At least we were given the opportunity to say our goodbyes, but it's very little consolation given how sad and unfortunate this is. My sincere condolences to those who were close to him.

That 3ln tune you did was great, dude.

a sad loss to us all. i was hoping we would get to meet again some day but it was not to be. this fellow's musical talent was frankly awe-inspiring. my heart goes out to his loving wife.

I will never forget the nights on the beach during sundown in Budleigh. He was such an amazing musician, and he did a great job and service to the scene keeping Modarchive alive. A true demoscene hero! He went much too soon, and it's not fair. Rip m0d.

I managed to meet him this year on Discord during January of this year and I had a blast with him, he's even given me words of motivation that I'll keep with me.

This is so difficult to process.

m0d named his servers after Korg synths. Trinity. Triton. I think there was also a Prophecy at some point. He was living music.
Yesterday I finally bought a Trinity Rack. Then I saw these news some hours later. Part of you will live on in this synth.

Like others said, he was one of my first contacts in the world of module music. He might have been weirded out by 15-year-old me in the beginning but things clicked very quickly.
We spent some great years, becoming more and more involved with helping him with running the site. Then we finally met at parties. Breakpoint 2009 and Evoke 2009 were epic. Thanks for the signed Allister Brimble CDs you secured for me without even asking at Sundown 2008.
I will never forget those crazy HAM radio and studio sessions you streamed.

Some years later, some not so nice things happened. I'm glad that we're past that and that we could finally put them behind us in January. It would have been great to reconnect IRL at a demoparty. But it's too late now.

i grew up on the mod archive. it helped to open my mind to an entire artform in my most formative years. i would be a very different person if not for m0d and the archive. needless to say, i am eternally grateful and it is sad to see you go. goodbye, m0d, and thanks for all the fish. o7

What wysiwtf wrote - I couldn't put it into better words if I tried. Rest in peace mate, and mad respect for being as open about your borrowed time as you were. Gave us all a chance to make the best of the time we still shared.
