We (Magnetic Team) never have made this demo. Back in 1994 a friend of us that had access to my computer stole some material from it and made this ugly demo pretending to be us. Then he published it without our knowledge or consent.
He told us what he has done and when we asked him why he did it, he simple answered: "Just to help you, guys!".
Of course we started receiving very bad reviews about a demo that we never have done.
The only demo released by Magnetic Team on july 1st 1994 is called "The Finest Dream" (https://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=89016) and not this awful and offensive demo called "The Final Dream".
By the way, that friend was diagnosed with a Bipolar disorder in 2001.

madaxe: consider this- how was your friend able to steal the demo off your harddrives if you never made it? and how are his personal circumstances relevant in any way? fact of the matter is, this is far from the only "stolen while we weren't looking" release on this site, the file has been out in this form and shared on the internet for decades, so it would be strange for pouet not to cover it imho

if any step should be taken, disassociating the group from the prod because it's not an official release seems the least inappropriate one

since it was released and spread (that's how it was found in the first place) deleting is not a real option. but moving it to a new group with a "fake" attached (which happened to a fake future crew release as well) is not a problem. so it is still here but not connected to the demo group.

The correct name of this demo is Green Ground (not Hot Stuff). Thanks for making it beautifullllllllllll. :-)

There is a problem with this prod: The timing in the animated GIF was broken.
Here's a version with fixed timing, it would be great if you could update that.

There is a problem with this prod:
It's not a real "prod", there is no download, just a video (.mov), a production for the Amstrad CPC should have a disk / snapshot / tape / cartridge image, not a videoclip.

devilmarkus: it's a wild compo release so .mov download is totally OK imho

Silly Venture has essentially all Atari platforms and separate compos.

There already is one for "atari 8-bit demo" and "falcon demo", but none yet for "lynx" demo or "atari lynx demo". This leads to mixing up different compos in the results.

It would be great if that "atari lynx demo" could be added. And for consistency, "falcon demo" could then also be "atari falcon demo"

the sillyventure team and it's supporters would be wise to consider how often they're asking us this vs. the chance we'll respond
