Thanks for being really nice to me at Tokyo Demo Fest 2014 (and twitter space). I still have the sticker you gave me. Arigato, mog-san.

Party Report: Tokyo Demo Fest 2014

Oh man :(

We hadn't talked in a few years, but for some reason he was one of the people who always stayed in the back of your mind and I thought that whenever I would get my ass to a party again, we'd share a massive hug, friendly banter about random stuff and a drink and it would feel like no time had passed at all. My old laptop still has the TRBL sticker I got from him.

My deepest condolences and love to his family and friends.

Meh :(

Just woke up to this news. Met him a couple off times during the years. Although I didn't knew him well he'll be surely missed <3

mog was one of those brave people who can create a human connection with a stranger from thin air, and I was glad to have been on the receiving end of that talent. and every time we met he'd somehow be even more kind and enthusiastic than remembered.

I'll miss you, buddy.

I loved LE MOGE, he was such a funny and nice guy, we had a lot of laugh on IRC back in the days, we will miss him a lot as he enter the hall of fame of nice sceners we lost in the recents years :(

Wtf, he was indeed young. I didn't know him personally, but chatted with him once or twice on Deadline. RIP

Just a thought: kind of a wake up call to sleep 8h at night, stay healthy etc... it's always nice to do some coding at night, but irregular sleep is no 1 cause of serious diseases. Or sometimes it's just bad luck. Shiet.

Terrible news :( We chatted at several Deadline parties, such a cool person. Power to all his friends and family.

oh no :( I will miss those hugs, too. though we did not interact regularly, it always felt like we had some kind of connection that felt special to me.

I did not know him that well, but the few times we chatted he was super nice and friendly. Tragic loss, condolences to his family and close friends.

bah, this is sad news. mog was indeed one of those sceners you'd have a short talk with at every party we both attended, it just always happened somehow :D also back when IRC was still active, we'd regularly banter and talk more serious demoscene things in private. Incidentally, last weekend I actually wondered why you were so AFK lately when mentioning rocket-js to someone.

You'll be missed!
He was always such a positive presence and I enjoyed our talks. So sorry to see him go, and at such a young age too.
May his memory be a blessing to all who care for him.
Yeah, he was this kind of guy that you met and immediately felt like you knew for years. Proto-scener, immediate bants. Always a joke, some chats, a hug. We will keep you alive in our memories, a big loss for the v i b e s of all parties.

This is hard to process. I met mog a good few times, he was a very funny and friendly person - one of the nicest people I ever met inside the demoscene and outside too. I did not know he was ill, this news is a shock to me and extremely sad to hear.

A big loss indeed.

I noticed that he wasn't at Deadline where he was a fellow orga in the last years due to health reasons. I was not aware that it was so bad, but I was very glad to have seen and hugged him on last years' Deadline. Even more so now. This hits hard.

I'll always remember his positive personality and talent with anything graphics in a fun way and our shenanigans at the Infodesk at Deadline.

You will be dearly missed, mog.

See you at the big screen in the next life.
a huge loss, mog will be missed.

Oh man, that sucks.

As others have written he was an absolutely friendly guy with a very easy going manner that was always enjoyable. i also met him like moqui for the first time at evoke 2009 and over the years we always had very nice contact from time to time. unfortunately this faded in the last few years due to work and family and again sadly shows how quickly people enter a life and unfortunately leave it again when you don't expect it. I was hoping to meet him again at a Nordlicht party. Unfortunately, this wish no longer comes true

I hope wherever you are, you will continue to have the same positive energy as when you were alive. rest in peace.
