Well, after 3 years of absence, another installment of FOReVER party in Slovakia will happen again. There are few changes this time, but at the end it should be the same dis-organized demo-party as you all loved (and organizers always failed provide any better).

The location has changed. We are moving down south, close to the Trnava. The party itself will happen in a small village called Suchá nad Parnou (west from Trnava). The party place can be seen here: party place

We should have the buffet again and this time also sleeping room. No accommodation known from last years is possible this time.

And what is the date? As always, 3rd weekend of March, thus 17.3. - 19.3. 2023

Platforms are the the same (8bits), what will change are some organizers. We are still sorting out the Commodore 64 and Atari scenes (well, it is impossible to replace XI, but we will try anyway).

Great to see you're back. One day I'll be there, too. But this year I'll be at Midwinter for the first time the same weekend. Have a great party!

What is the deadline for sending remote entries for the graphics competition?

Do you have an "other 8 bit" competitions this year actually? Who's the person to contact about them?

Deadline is usually at Friday noon, but as a person who like to break rules I'm open to receive contributions till Saturday afternoon (until I'll have time before competitions, each year different).

I'm working on a picture for other 8bit, hopefully I can finish it on time. Other 8bit contributions are welcomed at my email mike(a)zeroteam(.)sk

That should be enough time to finish what I've started :)

Note that I'm not bringing a Thomson machine this year due to travel constraints. So you may want to check which machines are available and how we can display your entries (or find someone else who has the correct machine, whichever it is).

All compos are normally run on real hardware, I don't know if the organizers will make exceptions.

We expect if someone send contribution for an exotic hardware that s/he will also bring the hardware to the party. Of course if it's not possible (remote contributions, public transport on strike...) we accept video of the contribution.

I've just sent an entry with a video. Hopefully not too late!

So far there were wild and real-time compos, music compo is interrupted and will restart once sound problems are fixed.

We saw that picture today.

But I didn't saw any video. May be I missed it. I don't know.

The video was just showing the image being displayed on the actual machine :)

I had some time last time so added the releases on scene.org
