this isnt going to be easy, but the possibility i could find the demo is awesome. so im searching for a ms-dos demo, which is made around 95 i think. i was 10 when i saw it, so i cant remember well. i only know there is a breakpoint from ambient slow music to techno, with a
skull at the beginning of this break. then there are several 3d objects painted as moving blue points, with a bit motion blur. in the ending there was a black&white photo and the greetings of them scrolling down with chilled piano sounds. but i dont kow who made this demo or what the beginning was like :(.
have you seen such a demo or have a tip where i can search?

That would be a great scene quiz. It's preety hard for me to remember too with these few details.

I also have a friend who was searching for a demo with some envmapped balls flying over a forest or something like that, but I could never find that too.

hm... the only real things i can search for are a skull and a real breakpoint in the demo. at the moment i download all demo compilations from scene.org and try to take a look at all of the msdos demos. the song in my mind is like the song "yves deruyter - outsiders" at the beginning with this guitar-techno like flavour.

93 but it could be. I have watched it only once in my life because I own a GUS now. Scary..

the demo doesn't run, there is only a big c:\> when i start it and nothing happens. also it could be i'm really not sure if its 93 or 95, because i were a little boy.
i have only win2000 installed and use the dosbox as emulator, has anybody an idea how i can get it run?

figured something out... if i turn the gus emulation off in the dosbox, i get the menu to choose irq an so. but then i get the message: you must have a gus with 512k

ok i fixed it... the demo ran. but this isnt the demo i search for :(

* a demo from 95
* from ambient to techno music
* skull at the beginning?
* 3d objects with blue points, delay blue dots like zbs in Panic (but this has no skull)
* black&white photo at the end..

but the skull isnt at the beginning, but if the musik changes from ambient to techno. i can think of an white flash, with is transforming into a skull. but I DONT REALLY KNOW!

yeah its really like in panic, but the music is different and the ending.
if i knew the beginning of the demo.... grrr but its simply too washed away in my mind

The one I have in mind was from Legend Design I think, but I can't remember the name. Year was round '95, so it could be the one you're looking for...

huri: actually I believe ive seen the demo youre reffering to, but i cant remember the name. and i really dont remember anything from the demo. but what you say is vague in my mind. its like ive seen it sometime in my childhood.,... but all i can remember from it was that it was made in pascal, and it did have the source-code released with the demo.

reanimator and alien arent running. grrr! in the dosbox... alien tells me to turn ems manager off and reanimator: get a pentium jerk! lol

reanimator runs in dosbox. at least i managed to run it - so try harder :)
but it is not the demo you are looking for - although a good demo, so check it out

hellrasier is imho a great demo gut not what i searched for like you mentioned it. how did you rum reanim8r? in the dosbox.conf there are no properties of prozessor type? do you use another .dll?

Help, guys! Maybe someone remembers the demo, where there was a scene with such a bird (a model from examples from "Autodesk 3D Studio for DOS"). I watched it once... But now I’m not even sure what platform it is. Perhaps DOS, but maybe Amiga... I think the product dates back to the 90s.

Actually the first demo searched for in the original might have been blurred memories of global trash Ii

regarding your post bitl: that bird rings a bell, I sure have seen it somewhere. So you remember a bit more about the demo? What was the mood of the demo? What was the soundtrack like? Do you remember any effects or anything that happens before the scene with the bird, or after?
