Okay, I just sent the hotel an e-mail and found out some things about their process. Here goes:

* The room will only be reserved until 6pm when requesting a reservation by mail
* Even with UNC password it's actually 10€ more expensive per night than to book the room directly via the Arcor page.

It is however possible to cancel the booking when done per mail.

I personally just cancelled my reservation and booked via web. It's cheaper and I'll only be in Frankfurt at 7pm.

It also still says 2018 so I guess it lives up to the party name :)

so, i just booked a room via email and i can confirm that it's 240 for three nights instead of 170 (using the website). just sent a reply, this demands explanation.

The main organizer is still "green" (behind ears) :P
And it´s not easy coming up with new solutions when the deadline is long past...
(deadline == normally a party should release all infos long beforehand, but in this case it wasn´t possible for obvious reasons! :P)

Just realize it will be like parties in the early 90s/end of 80s...get close to the published party-place in time (Darmstadt City) and bring contact-infos to compass yourself in finally! ;) (calling a number (no phone-boxes needed anymore -> see wiki/smartphone), or even email or irc nowadays (we did not have that!) !)

You all are just too spoiled by splendid party-organizing in general by now! :P (Again: not applicable this time, as they could not know they will get arsed by the hall-owners in such a way! --> happened a lot btw in the early days of demoparties...we ended up partying in some pubs without computers sometimes! :P Atleast we met...which is essentially all we want anyway, eh?! :) )
