It's just unnecessary to record a 320x200 demo in 4k. It looks the same as 1080p, pretty much. But hey, don't let me stop you from going through the trouble. I just won't do it myself. ;)

The first one does not run at all with whatever PC and OS combinations I throw at it. And the second one slows down to a crawl when I try to capture it.

Thanks guys! Didn't realise latest dosbox would run it so well. Both captures look nearly identical.
Btw The demo doesn't claim to need a faster machine, it's a joke. I think the effects run at ~full frame rate on a 386.

Helium by 3SS and Hocus Pocus by 3SS

kiulu by pontus (or the dos version)

Helium runs well on my regular Windows 10, but crashes after the smiley-guy part. It runs all the way in VirtualBox with Win98, but the effects move too fast. Slowing down the machine speed helps but lowers the framerate. Maybe I can piece together captures from both.
