Although I'm going to be in the party place the whole time, is there going to be any stream available from the Scene Lounge? Or does it have to share the streamtime with the whole event?
I bet the sofasceners would like to see all the Scene Lounge events :)

There will be definitely a stream from Scene Lounge! We have teamed up with asmTV that streams all the content of the Scene Lounge (that doesn't have any copyright infringements) to Twitch. Also the main demo compos are streamed to that channel as well. The stream will be at https://www.twitch.tv/assemblytv .
This year we have few workshops hold in Scene Lounge. The first workshop is a Demo making workshop.

Didn't finish your Nordlicht entry in time?
Don't worry we accept remote entries in realtime (1k, 4k, 64k intro, demo, oldskool demo, real wild), gamedev and short film competitions. Remote entries are eligible for compo prizes and you don't need a trusted proxy person to collect them.
However, for real wild, you need to prove that your production works on the real hardware it was developed for i.e. on-site testing of your entry. We recommend you to contact us to figure out how we can test your production.

The legendary Assembly demo competition will be shown live on national YLE TV2 channel on Saturday August 4 starting around midnight after the ROG Tournament CS:GO Finnish Championship 2018 Finals. So your demo production can reach much wider audience than just the usual party visitors and sofa sceners watching the AssemblyTV stream.

Was great to see Franky's stint on ASMTV tonight, with the Gamedev compo. Assembly is seriously doing well this year, hopefully they will learn from this. Best of luck with the rest of the party - and we will be watching. British TV is so shitty compared to the output from parties that we are streaming from. No wonder. Fuck ?Brexit !!!!!!!!
Outreach seems to have reached the higher levels. In today's Helsingin Sanomat (newspaper), The Finnish Minister for European Affairs, Culture and Sport spoke about the importance of the demoscene and democompos.
