Demos with Jazz track
category: music [glöplog]
Hi there,
I'm looking for demos with a Jazz track... Any tips?
I already know about Live Evil by Mandula but didn't find any other prod with that kind of music. Oldskool demos are welcome too.
Thank you for your advices :)

Of course also Dis by Mandula which is my most favorite.
Barn maybe?
i think Rob is Jarig is a great example
nagz you should know your track in Háromnegyed Tíz by The Adjective, isn't the style close to smooth/acid jazz or smth? ;P
oh yeah. it's future jazz. by me. forgot i made this. :)
Sozzled somersault by The Silents
Groovy! by Lemon.
Imagine by Dreamdealers
Mostly a soft and friendly acid/smooth jazz here, but maybe you'll like it.

Audiomonster's great tune in Pee Wee is smooth nightclub kind of jazz (and oh boy what a saxophone solo).
Thanks for the links, these demos sound very great! Indeed, Pee Wee's saxophone solo is really enjoyable :)
Sozzled somersault's track is amazing, exactly what I was looking for.
Do you know if some musicians experimented Jazz with chiptunes?

If musicdisks are ok, then http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=137 (to the original question, not chip)
Jazzy chips... Names like drax, virt, laxity, pri, c-jeff (not cyborg jeff :)), jakim, dreamer, mch, tempest, reed come to mind.

or for that matter, some of the jazzy/funky ones are compiled.
only a few of them are full-on jazz though.
Haaaa! 'Thumb up' feature is now required on the BBS!! Some tracks are gorgeous! Never wanted to contribute to 8-bit demos?

If ever you're interested in AY composition, you definitely should try Arkos Tracker 2. Still in development, it runs on PC and it is worth to try it :) (its developer, Targhan/Arkos, is very reactive)
Thanks for the Jazz chips artists list :)
thx for the tip. will check it out someday
I think, these have some jazzy soundtracks:
ASD - Mrs Escher's Nightmare
sanity - ARTE
Frogwize - Don Quijote v20
