Bonzaj: u never stop to amaze me.. keep ongoing! (and yes a new Plastic demo some day would be out of this universe ;)
do you need clean undies?
Apologies for bump. Actually no, not sorry at all. I snagged one of those EU codes and never posted here to say thanks. Now I'm here to pay my dues.
When I grabbed it I played a little and was pleasantly surprised with the game. Then I discovered it was coming to PSVR, so resisted carrying on until the helmet arrived. It did, I played and... whoa. Was not expecting that. Not sure if the experiences would have affected me as strongly had I continued on the TV, but being inside those reconstructed memories with the pieced-together imagery and having that swarmy 3d audio envelop me, it was cutting stuff, had me on edge. Really well judged and constructed, had a real feel of those powerful childhood memories that you maybe can't just dig out on demand but flash back to all senses firing for a split second - intense. Then in the fantasy world, feeling like you're stood right there there with the Princess looking right at you, that's one of those big VR moments so far for me. And on the beach, massive change of pace, shuffling through the sand and being given the time to piece things together and reflect on that a little as the sun sets... it's all so very well judged and built - too fucking clever by half really!
I said that it was Journey-like in the way it affected me, but really, with this being a solitary experience and much more grounded as well as having the whole fantasy angle, I think the impact is greater. Oh, and photo mode is some kind of tinkerers wet dream - need to set aside some time when the ps4 Pro arrives and the game gets another patch.
OK enough of this now. Linger In Shadows was something fun and trophy-laden back on the ps3, but this is up there in my top games of recent years and I feel utterly filthy not having paid a penny for it. Here's some of my photos and screen shots just because.

Ha! Thanks! so where are the other code grabbers ;)
But seriously - i think that PSVR might be the THING to ignite VR. It's already gone here in poland, I see that's getting gone in amazon UK and US. Sony didn't expect it happen.
yeah definitely if you have PSVR then check Bound - it has a lot of demoscene imagery, but in VR.
