So, if one arrives rather late on Friday (22:40), are the buses still going? Or are there even taxis? :-) (I remember once we got the very last one…)

If you take the bus to the central station you will be dropped off 20m from the taxi hub.
That didn't really answer my question about if the buses were going that late.
OK, Google Maps claims there's one 22:51 (very unlikely, given the slow luggage handling on AAR), and then the next one is 01:16 :-/
According to "rejseplanen" the bus leaves at 22:55, and with your flight being the last flight arriving in the airport that night, I'm fairly sure that the bus will wait in case of a small delay.
I's a quite small airport, luggage is usually there relatively fast, and the walk to the outside is very fast.

Busses i Aarhus usually waits for passengers since they have nothing else to do out there
Puryx: I've had that bus gladly just leave while I was waiting for my luggage =) But maybe now with SKAM invading Denmark, they take more kindly on Norwegians.
