I am getting the popcorn.
This will be marketed under Turnbill's "Innovation" and "Jobs and Growth" agenda.
Haha Mudlord, so true, this entire business has been propped up by government money. There is a video of him talking at some Queensland innovation/startup conference where a bunch of bureaucrats and various other wankers sit around and pat themselves on the back. The audience was largely tech illiterate so this dickhead was even more patronising than usual but the way he presented his "tech" was like he had invented a cure for cancer.
You have to question how this smarmy, self-fellating con-man can get millions in funding from the government but real established businesses using technology which actually exists are shutting down and/or moving overseas because they can't afford to do business here because then can't get any tax breaks or subsidisation.
They let the entire automotive industry close down as well as most manufacturing in general, and it's been particularly bad here in South Australia. They said we can't compete with international labour costs in manufacturing but we will be the "smart" country and focus on tech industries. Then they let all the large game studios close down too... nothing but rhetoric as usual.
Should fire up a quick procedural terrain in shadertoy and tell everyone how it uses no memory or polygons and is infinite and then apply for a government grant for my "new technology". Except I am not a massive cunt.

Sure wish I could edit posts so that my angry rants are slightly more coherent.

Fuck yes, and then I can claim my EXE packer's compression methods are unique and "innovative"! (fitting LZMA in under 1100 bytes is not innovative, btw xD). We can then be millionares like this arsehole! xD

That's what I really don't get. Game industry is a smart industry and they talk about the "new" economy. So will this "new" economy be this fucking scamshit peddled by Dell and other morons? While letting other businesses die?
What fucking wankers indeed. The game industry didn't need to fucking die, not like fucking this.

Note how Euclideon avoids anything games industry related like the fire. They only appear at generic low-tier "science" events and investor roundups.
My 5 cents: what's amazing right now he tries to turn critics around and claim essentially that everyone is a jealous hater. The problem is: if you make clearly false cringe-worthy statements like this, what do you expect? For example he says he is the only one working on non-mesh based tech, so basically Dreams/PS4, VoxelFarm, Voxelquest, Voxlap, Atomontage and many more experimental engines doesn't exist. He also claims he is using holograms, which is not true either - it's 25 years old stereographic projection tech (aka CAVE) and has nothing to do with holographic effects.
Otherwise, I really have no problem that a team in AU is playing with 3d graphics. It's just Bruce completely over-the-top bullshit marketing that is hard to ignore. To be fair, it's not like something unusual in the industry, but he shouldn't be surprised about the amount of critics and accusation of misleading, deceiving and simply scamming the public.

It's the persistent use of the word "infinite" that messes up their credibility to me.
Neither memory space or computational accuracy are infinite due to space/time constraints and the fact that they are, pretty much, directly related.
...and there's a lot of other outlandish claims "load data sets of any size in under a second". On what computer? How fast? REALLY? I mean, I can load 10 terabytes of point cloud data in the same time as loading 4K? I doubt that too...
It's the hyperbolae that makes engineers cringe.
