TS-Conf is not a ZX Spectrum clone. It uses Pentagon subset just because the author couldn't make the firmware from scratch, and because it helps him advertise himself. This virtual hardware can't be made on real 74xxs nor attached to any kind of ZX Spectrum, neither English nor Russian (well, with sticky tape it can, and Amiga can too).

Alone Coder. TS-Conf an already proven viable architecture. It is supported by developers. It has prods. It wins spectators' votes (8.62 out of 10 by 350+ voters, hate). It is based upon open source platform of NedoPC (yours) group which encouraged using its sources for development. What the hell do you want from me? Stop being a jerk and just accept others' success, a part of which you resigned to be conciously.
btw, what is "half-stolen"? Definitely category "ZX Spectrum Half-stolen" must be added!

In my opinion, all old-school clones are spectrum's. Designed in 1993 or older. New generation Altera-based and so on are not.

Where does 1993 come from? Sound pretty arbitrary to me. Why not 1990, so that at least the decade is the same?

Anyone who argues "oh but what about demos that require a disk drive" or "the Pentagon is an enhanced Spectrum because it has 70001 t-states per frame instead of 70000" or "the 128K Spectrum is not an original Spectrum" is just trolling to make a point.
