It's politic but this is going on in the background for a while and is important for all:
the TPP would be a nightmare for Internet users everywhere — here are a few articles about the worst parts.
• Force sites to remove allegedly infringing content from the web without a court order — similar to SOPA. (Read more) • Create harsh criminal penalties for journalists and whistleblowers. (Read more) • Punish Internet users who share copyrighted material, even without any personal gain. (Read more) • Limit Fair Use to make copyright even more restrictive on creative innovation. The government and oligarchs behind (bankers, big money business) don't want freedom of speech: with it, there is no government as they are useless and they don't want people to understand why: they are obsolete and only intersted by power.
Other important point: with this kind of legislation in place, the government (this will apply very soon in the US then in EU and basically everywhere if it passes) will stop anything not pleasing itself, this is basically removing freedom of speech and freedom (the small amount we still have) leading to global tyranny.
As a progressive minded group, what can we do to stop that?

The same thing is coming in France, a kind of french "patriot act", with some kind of "black box" directly plugged on internet providers machines...
Fecesbook was full of this the last months! (atleast mine, like 40 groups and 400 friends, all computer/scene-affiliated ofcoz! Also i visit fb only once a week or 2weeks!)
I wonder why so few people seem to care nowadays...i guess their tactic of "bombard em with the same shit under a new name every time the shit blows until they stop caring!" works out by now! :(

Petitions don´t need them many counts/voices (TODO:insert missing vocabulary here!), so everyone making a simple click is important! Don´t stop caring about your environment, don´t think like "others will do the job anyway, they don´t need me!", because this is utter bullshit, only leads to THEM winning at some point of time, making our already spent time of fighting against all those "Acts of Unfairnesses" senseless!
