So, what are some of your most memory events in the demoscene this year (2004)?

driving from linköping/norrköping to black birdie, uppsala when buzzie'd just got his drivers licence. lots of exiting adventures for sure!!!! x´D

almost dying on the way to Evoke when Yoda crashed his €25000 BMW (with me inside) on the motorway... with 110km/h. Hooray ;)

Oh, and at BP 2004 - looking at the PC Demos before the compo and betting if Winnerdemo would indeed win. But for us orgas it was more like place #3 <- proof that we were definitely not drunk enough on our own party :)

haha yeah, the black birdie trip sure was interesting :D

Nothing relevant (productive) on scene, for me, except the VJ soft and the good Jockeying at BCNParty 2004.

In my life, independized from my parents, a new cool job, and more time from now, to produce new stuff for demos, but year by year I must admit, it's more difficult to sustain my "child's mind", inside every scener, that gives me the capacity to amaze+improve when vieweing other's stuff.

For this year what feeded my scener spirit ?¿

there were some nice parties at 2004. assembly+breakpoint were great; assembly sunday was somehow one of the funniest days of my life. breakpoint was great experience too, and currently the only party where i've puked (that wasn't the funniest thing at bp, though) :). can't remember any special case right now. only thing that could've been done better was the amount of finnish parties.

niko: those 2 were probably the best parts of that entire week..

singing the code inside me for something like 1 hour before the compos would start at bp was pretty nice too.

buenzli evoke and bcn ruled.

seeing ppl teaching each other how to code and track at the portuguese events was pretty nice feeling aswell.

Bleh, 2004 has been my first scene year, and it haven't been too great :P

Some fine moments at the parties, though, and meeting people has been great.

All of you will probably think of me as trendy, but the most memorable 2004 demoscene moment for me is .krieger.

Breakpoint, Assembly, Function

Yeah, I remember 2004 like it wasn't even over yet...

Getting a call IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FUCKING NIGHT from (drunk?) Mnemonix after the compo. I won't forget that one in a hurry.

Having a first bath after Breakpoint. I swear, the water was BLACK.

Also, the first use of "zeitgeist" in a topic. It looks as corny as it could be.
