When going back to Saarbrucken trainstation, I found a bag, containing sausages, bread and similar stuff, and a Revision bag into it, containing the 2nd place trophee for the gif animation competition. I gave the food to an homeless guy who was beside the trainstation, and kept the rest. I tried to find an email for the said compowinner, who's Nael. He's not on demozoo and not on pouet. I'd like to contact him/her to send the trophee and the goodies which were with it. Anyone knowing him or her?

Props for helping the homeless.

His jacket "disappeared" by magic from his chair, hopefully he apparently lost nothing important, but it's a bit strange...

Not REALLY that strange, I had jackets / hoodies that fell off the backs of chairs and I found them several rows away because it was busy and everyone just kicked it a liiiiittle bit further.

Gargaj: yeah, but we searched around and behind the table from our row and the row behind but didn't found it :3

btw, Lycan's prize who "magically disappeared" last year never resurfaced...

Man that would have sucked. I brought my set of keys with me on the trip (I forgot to leave the unneeded before I left) and made sure they were kept safely stored.

I also successfully "lost" (not stolen, but given away) stuff at the party so I didn't have to take it home. Random US foodstuffs, two gear cubes, and three different colors of EL wire 10' each. (Which is not long enough to spell anything decent. I was sad. :-|) Came home with a bunch of key fobs though. :P

:( Probably misplaced at the party. All of the tables are full of random stuff and things that make it hard to tell what all is there. With low to no incidence of theft in the main hall even with all that computer gear I can't see someone stealing it. There's nothing to be prideful of for doing that. Unfortunately like D.Fox I don't think it'll reappear again, though I doubt someone would toss it in the bin without realizing what it was. You could have someone or some business handy with laser engraving/etching make a replacement, but that costs money and likely wouldn't feel the same or as good as having the real thing.

yep, that did suck. they weren't mine (friend lost them while sleeping at the party), but luckily, gargaj is obviously a more concerned organizer, so he didn't trash the keys. :))

2011 - The Croats visit Function, forget their car keys. I ship them back.
2012 - The Croats visit Function again; while leaving, they victoriously show off that they didn't forget their car keys there. 5 minutes after going out the exit, they return and pick up a jacket they forgot there.

hehe, this is exactly how it happened. at least you didn't need to ship the jacket. :))

btw, while we're at it, what about this year's Function? demoparty.net awaits you, and mid September is less than 4 months away. looking forward to leave something there. ;))

I almost lost my keys at Revision, but luckily they were just right next to my sleeping bag. Phew!

i lost my lighter at revision. luckily it reads "titan" and as thus was returned to me later that day =)
