Event-Chief wanted!
Dear fellow sceners,
the Revision Organizing Team is looking for someone to take over the planning and execution of our non-competition events.
Preparation
- Looking for suitable liveacts or bands
- Communication with the liveacts or bands in terms of necessary equipment, content for the website, scheduling etc.
- Finding and scheduling a lineup for the 2nd stage
On-location
- On-site support
- Planning and setup of the stage for each event
- Communication with the beam-, stream- and camera team
General requirements
- fluent english (german is NOT required)
- take part of the buildup/teardown of the party, the timeframe is between 15th and 22rd of April. If this is absolutely not possible for you, please mention this in your email.
You'll also of course get free entrance, food during the whole time, a few hugs and that warm fuzzy feeling after creating such a great event.

as special organizer i can only organize havoc playing a nose flute, tmc drumming on an empty bucket and haohmaru with a kazoo doing rob is jarig 10 hours straight. surely revision needs an event-chief, unless you wanna watch _THAT_..
As special german maybe we could kickstart buying a dutch guy singing ladadee dadee dau for a couple of minutes as a gig.
Synchronicity strikes again. Just this weekend I was pondering who to contact from the Orga team to reserve a Saturday after-compo-night time slot for the 2nd stage.

Hmmm... I could do this all alone. Playing your favorite Amiga demo tunes with only 2 notes on a Harmonica. I could talk to myself and see if I have one. If I don't get severily damaged during the first stage, I might hop on a second time.
During that Music performance, i could give videos of my most favorite color-swirls and VJ-Randomness to the Beam-Team. If I don't make it to the second stage, I could talk to a cameraman to record the first stage and a recording will be shown.
I might not be very good at building up a party, but I could tear it down twice!
Since this proposal doesn't sound like much, I'd be willing to pay half-price and only drink water and deny any hugs attempted.

Knoeki, thanks for the offer! We started the job yesterday evening so first task will be to determine how many slots we have to fill. When that is done we'll start approaching artists and dj's and announce them (assuming they agree to perform). Right now we'd be happy to receive any offers from acts, bands, dj's, performers, but also suggestions and comments from the audience. Thanks in advance :)
