Adding prod ranks by users on Pouet is f'd at the moment, so either wait until (wild) gargaj appears and fixes it, or ask one of the gloperators/moderators to add it. Sorry :)

Back home. This was an excellent party, many great releases and a high compo quality in general. Thanks to all the great people I met and the organizers. ;)

It was interesting to hear so many different tuens in the one sample tracked music compo, and it's an interesting concept compared to the senesless "mp3 samples in 64k" aka tiny tracked music compo, but there is certainly a lot of room to improve it for next year. Not having a noise sample to generate proper drums was really limiting and you can see that most songs lacked percussion because of that (obviously). So for next year, it might be an interesting idea to increase the number of predefined samples (5-10 carefully chosen samples should do), but maybe forbid editing them in return.

See you next year in Colonge!
well me as Oldschooler has visited a Party after about 23 years, this was probably due to the fact, thats iam just living 15mins. away from Party Place, anyways..

all i have to say:

Congratulation and Well done to the Organizing Team!
( sowas kriegen halt nur lück us kölle hin!! )
.
Me also enjoyed to meet and speak to some mongos after all the years,
really enjoyed all and everything...
.
i Remember the Parties held in the 80s (venlo, radwar etc)...
>> 200 boys , 1 girl ... all starring at her...
.
thanks god this has changed nowadays (lolz) ... ;)

cya all at Evoke 2k14 ...

Subzero / SSR / SkidRow
And next year we want additional to the 1sample-compo the namevoting-compo, where the prod of the whole party with the best name (aka title) wins the price. :)

An awesome party as usual. There's only one complaint: You should find a way to enable voting for (and, ideally, downloading the entries of) compos right after they finished. Not being able to vote for the two last compos until like 4 AM wasn't exactly funny :)

By the way, those "Platine" promotion leaflets were pretty, um, interesting ...

the massive delay in the possibility to vote was due to some kind of fuckup in the network that we could not really pinpoint with four people working on it in the middle of the night. at one point we even tried to move stuff to the internet (i got an abuse mail by my hoster today...). thanks to benjam and dfox for trying to help in the middle of the night.

one learning of this awesome party, for me, is that the bigger you get the further away you get from "well, it's just a network of nice people, noones gonna do shit...". we got everything logged and i will be sitting down and make the access logs into jmeter test. might be interesting for people instlaling partymeister and letting it get hammered by "one weekend of evoke".

i hope this didn't screw up voting too much. i certainly would have loved to be able to drink a beer with you all before four in the morning. sorry, and thanks to everyone helping again. i still think it was an awesome evoke :)

Well, the party-network-fuckup was really annoying, but happens! ;)
My wild guess about it is that Partymeister just needs all of the win7-updates first to work like should ;) (as once the two "open"-machines rebooted a lot and didnt moan about the updates anymore it all worked flawlessly aswell, maybe just coincidence!

The Party itself gets better and better every year, i loved this edition!!!!!
(also thanks to whoever initiated inviting all of those "scene-founders", oldskool ftw, i learned a lot!)

Now let´s think about "evoke winter edition" !!! ;)
