Revision 2013
category: parties [glöplog]
Bus is in Denmark - short status: totally awesome party, sorry for not saying goodbye to a lot of people (especially you cuddely, adorable organizers!)
I had simply managed to build up a sustainable hangover that needed attention :)
In other words: DEAD INSIDE :)

Thanks to everyone at Revision for such a great party. And thanks A LOT to the organizers for making it possible, of course. I hope to see you all there next year :D
Thanks for the maximum experience party, it was nice to feel somewhat normal again and be around familiar faces, and meet some new people as well. \o/
Fantastic party, thanks for everything!
And just when I'd managed to get from Germany back to the UK without losing anything to Frankfurt customs, I discovered that I'd left the book I was reading in the taxi. The curse continues! ^__^

http://www.scene.org/dir.php?dir=%2Fparties%2F2013%2Frevision13/ should be complete now.
Is there a possibility to find the Revision 2013 Jingles somewhere? Its sort of a tradition for me to have them as rintone to annoy my girlfriend and get other people talking about the demoscene. :)
Gargaj, thanks for the upload!
Just woke from first good night of sleep in weeks... Despite all the 'getting it finished' stress, I had a kick ass time and am sure to be there again. So many new friends, and so many old friends from yesteryear too. Thank you, Revision!!!
PS. More thanks to the rest of the Redux team for suggesting and donating their cut of the winnings towards bubbly and chocolate for my wife and child (so they'll let me make another, lol)

Jingles will be online soonish - I need to deal with evilbot symptoms first :)
thanks for a great party, and thanks to certain danes for giving me the plague :)
Epic revision was Epic \o/

I'm back in sunny portugal after a 4 days of party in the north pole, on my way to work proudly wearing my revision"bad" tshirt.
As a non-participant 'sofa' guy I watched a chunks of the proceedings from scenesat iPad and when i missed stuff due to 'real-life' I caught up via the excellent Revision Youtube channel.
As a non-party goer I really appreciate the effort made to stream live and get the events on youtube fairly soon after they actually happened.
Particularly enjoyed 64k (l'ancienne & turtles) and the Amigaaaaaaa! (lemon of course and crown pleaser), caught some of the PC demo live (missed the end few). Tried to run '5 faces' on my home machine, but it hung at the start screen (AMD) so didn't see the that til it went on Youtube last night. (I guess as the party was over and there were stickers to remove it took longer to get up)
Also as I'm a coder getting back into graphics programming I love the seminars and enjoyed the demozoo one (been meaning to for ages, but i'll pop into the irc chan today to sign up sometime this week) and the 4k and mali opengl es one's had some interesting content.

Is there a place where I can download an mp3 of the livesets?
Gargaj: Will Sunday's compo studio be uploaded?
I hope NOT. ;)
Yeah, recordings of the DJ sets would be nice.

I'll move stuff to public when it arrives to incoming; I don't actually have the files.
Regarding DJ sets i'm not actually share if we can host them on scene.org given they're mostly commercial music :/

great party. good job orgas and yay for everyone i hung around or hung over with ;)
Now that I've had a night's sleep and a looong considerably warm shower I'd like to deeply thank the organising team for providing an excellent event again.
I had so much nice chats with folks all over the place and like to say cheers to (my voice is sounding like the Godfather's):
- Ted & KeyJ, always a pleasure to witness and analyse the compos with you
- Corial for being an awesome pal to talk to, remember: time is to OCS on ze Amiga! ;)
- Booster for being a working maniac throughout two thirds of the party, hoping to make that up later this year
- Scicco & Dandee for being the party animals they are ... ( scicco: you can't get rid of the opposition, w/o overcoming the opposition, nothing gets done, whining about it after wont help ;)
- sly42 for a great team-up Saturday night, delivering some banging choons that were NOT "teenage drum&bass"
- Xenusion for being the living incarnation of Evilbot ;D
- den svenske gang (Dalton, Esau, Bonkers, Altruist) and Kalms for talkin' "proper code commentation policy" in real life ( sorry that I couldn't sort out that little Sprite glitch in the demo but I had other deamons to fight)
- tft & Nerdine for freezing outside while talkin' about the wild graff- times
- H0ffman & Savannah, the cheerful couple from Britain; the set was massive, especially the awesome flashbacks to the good ol' hardcore heydays like with Liquid's "Sweet Harmony", every bone in my body hurts right now
- vscd for a nice firesite chat, clothes still smell like that of a charcoal burner
- lug00ber for not killing people so that an amateur like me could spin some old Jungle tunes ;)
- last but not even closely least, the whole Amiga Formula- One Circus for being the most awesome, creative and funky bunch to be a member of and competing with, I wuv U all.
And to Charlie: WE NEED YOU and we love you for bearing that heavy compo-organiser cross. Your dedication in terms of proping up the recording quality to the level that it has today can not be appreciated too much :)
Told you about the glossy original animation of the micromachine- version of your ride that Falksen made: here it is
...no going back to rent-paying work, feasting on the experience until the next party
