One night last year when i decided to go back to partyplace from Crystal i took the wrong turn (drunk) after the railroad bridge and found myself in that oil (?) platform yard (round tank on top of that map) and from there wandered somewhere NW i guess.. After hour or two of aimless wandering i heard distant untz and traveled towards it, finally seeing E-Werk from top of some hill i remember.. Through the bushes and there i was, loving untz for the first time since ~95 :)

So it's not necessarily a shortcut!

Why confusing? As Maali said, mauve is no color, so there are only 4 routes. I find that pretty straight forward.
