Random "work in progress" shots

yes, WIP is the definitely fun part.
and btw: regarding my half-drunken ramblings on the one-liner last night regarding the analog filter DAC<->ADC capture loop:
it actually is quite trivial to set up (just wrote a testcase). the board is easily fast enough to multiplex 256 channels that way.
the analog filter circuit won't be able to handle such high frequencies, though (I guess). at least not when I build it :D
8 multiplexed filters should be possible, though (maybe 2x4 when using both DAC channels)
however, next page pls :-)

If this was Facebook I would like preachers comment.
anyone already tested sketchup ?
i made a test trying to model my new flat fastly (simple shapes, low poly modeling), and in 15-20 minutes, you can do something really cool, and export them with actually pretty nice effects, that's a good tool to do some basic 3d me thinks

your flat looks very prefab
ekoli so you just cant say that you like it, you've been conditioned to press the button.. :D
hm... I think I said I liked it, I just choose to use different words :)
bull: Yes, it's quite a nice tool. I used it to design a fancy furniture set for my flat (big bookshelf connected with two desks taking spanning three walls total) and as you can produce nice technical drawings from it it really helped to make sure my carpenter did this exactly as I imagined it.
Other than that, I don't think Sketchup will do much good for demos. Unless you want to make a demo about flat walls and simplified furniture, that is.

KK: or did you mean something like that? ;)
lol
indeed KK, it doesn't really fits my needs when it comes to designing spheres, corners, and round things :p

That sounds like my kind of a demo to make.
bull: Sketchup is perfect for designing rounded corners and such, but only as long it's an extruded 2D shape. Limiting, but still works for furniture.
Ferris: wtf? I dare not ask :P
some random opengl3 instancing test:
6 weeks to go...
