Yeah, made some progress today with my entry, lookiing forward to OVOLO!
There's actually a pretty good chance I *won't* make it to Evoke.
I'm really not sure how long it will take for me to recover from the whole pneumothorax crap, and whether or not I'll be fit enough to survive a whole demoparty. Someone already suggested a hotel, but I fear that by the time I know if I'll be able to even make it to the party, it's gonna be too late to still book a hotel I'll actually be able to afford... And I'm not really fond of hotels anyway.
So.. it's a maybe. I really hope I do make it, though.

Someday I will do as I dream, and go to Assembly and then Evoke on one long vacation of awesome.

I've been working on an old-school-styled PC demo in the last few weeks/months, and it wants to get released.
The only problem is that I'm 17 and my parents don't think that it is a good idea :(
I'll need to think about it and maybe find somebody to go with me, so I'm not alone.
Too bad most of my friends don't even know what the Demoscene is. :(

An even better reason to bring one with you. Bringing people outside of the demoscene to a demoparty is the best way of recruiting new blood. So try to convince one of your friends to come with you.
You can say, "hey, if you don't have fun, I bet we can find other places in Cologne to have fun, and we got a cheap place to stay"
(this is of course only a cover story, as he/she will most probably have a great time at Evoke, even if they don't understand what the demoscene is about. )
