im still shocked for the "animation by multiple instances of the mesh in an .obj"-idea. at one point it is beautifully simple, at the other.. christsake!!! ;)
worked for quake... :)

I'm really happy that scene is going more open source, respect to all you guys!
don't worry, it's not. we're just getting rid of 5-10 year old source.

WHERE WERE YOU FUCKERS IN 2004 >:(

...when I whined to anyone that cared to listen how stupid it is to hide your source code like it's the last ounce of coke you have.

i was always okay with sharing source when asked. imho smash's blog is worth well more as far as education and motivation goes than just giving shit out.

also, is adok degrading sceners to consumers now?

Good point about blogs Gargaj, if only more synth coders were prolific bloggers ;)

Giving shit out is the only way to learn for me. YMMV.

Also, "when asked" is the new never. Just put your shit on github after release. It's not that hard.

@visy
here you go, my shit is already on github. you may learn now.

Having released the sources of my own attempts for 10+ years, I'm of course glad to see this sort of trend. At the end of the day it doesn't even need to be about sharing, showing off, learning or ideology: just let it go :)
