demoscene 2.0

As you all know the demoscene is dead for quite some time now. Its like some sort of Zombie-community and has been for the last 10 years!
And because of that fact the Kids[tm] dont think its cool anymore!
But it is common knowledge that the Kids[tm] are the future of our society and so it is of the upmost importance to teach the future of our society the proper ways of digital art and culture!
So I had a look at how things are being done these days and came to the following conclusion:
Whenever something needs to be fresh and trendy (allthough it isnt), it needs to be reinvented!
Which in turn just means to give it a new name!
So here is my suggestion:
a DEMOSCENER is from now on an ERA (Electronic Realtime Artist)
a DEMO is from now on an ERP (Electronic Realtime Production)
an INTRO is from now on a SLERP (Size Limited Electronic Realtime Production)
and the DEMOSCENE as a whole should be called SODA (Society Of Digital Art(ists)) or, as a special known-to-work-buzzword, as SCENE 2.0
All you need is some new Logos, Banners, and Ads spread via Google and Youtube, all the content of the demoscene can stay basically the same!
Oh, and a fancy new Website with all the AJAX and whats-cool-these-days that Pouet is missing of course.
That is my brainfart for tonight. I think I should go to bed now.

we do this with a single slogan at 7dx parties, "digital festival". when we call it "scene party", young ppl don't get it. but when we use "digital festival", they pay a visit. :)
