Prize giving while everyone is plastered, genius!

Thanks for organising such a cool party ! I wonder what the headcount of 'very sore' heads are going to be this morning, judging from just how many people were, quite literally, bouncing off the walls last night ? ;)

Then again waking up in a bed, taking a shower, having good breakfast and then entering the lift to the party hall definitely has its advantages :D

Just got back to my mom's house, exhausted, but that was a massive party. Well done!

I'll get the live footage of the compos up on Monday night when I get back home where I can process and upload the videos in some comfort and speed.

I also took some pics, but I don't have my USB cable with me so those will also appear later this week.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere, not so much the outside but that is another story involving evil vagrant stabby looking people. Oh yes, Luton is quite the shit hole :) Was glad of the hotel!

That was a bit of a massive weekend I'd say!. Special shout outs to Buzz and Subi who I met for the first time but have known them from the scene 15+ years ago! Shouts to new peeps I met Smash, Keito & Jin! (MASHUP!), Max and everyone else.

Congrats to m0d for winning the music compo, amazing work fella, serious talent! All the entries in streaming and old school were wicked, probably the strongest music compo I've ever witnessed.

Feels good to finally finish and release the music disk I've been working on for the past year!

Lastly, big up much respect to the dance floor crew! RAVE!

The only negatives I would say is maybe the sound-system, but to be honest, it was good enough for a cheeky fat rave. Oh and as m0d said.. LUTON! Such a quaint little filth pit of gnarly scary yoots!

lootin' in luton!
Made it back to Manc despite Luton Train Station not having trains at it. Brilliant to meet everyone finally, now I have concrete proof that the scene doesn't just exist in my head! Hotel was ace, demoparties in hotels are a good idea, particularly hotels with jacuzzis and breakfast until 11!

Also, "Gnarley Dubstep" totally sounds like the bad guy in a Dickens novel. :)

My party ended at 3am last night, journey home at around 4am.

Loved the local-ish location of the party in relation to me. It was nicely set in a safe and comfortable hotel. Lots of friendly people, including some unexpected overseas arrivals (hi Setok!)

I did a little bit of people watching in Luton, ladies with too short skirts, check! Nervous giggle anticipating being hopelessly drunk later on, check! Animal noises coming from the Wetherspoons-alike vertical drinking establishment in St Georges Square, check!

"Banqueting and Conference" [1... 2... 3... Doors Open] Unts unts unts unts - boy that sound proofing was good ;)

And like kb said - it's nice to roll out of a bed, have a shower, have breakfast, enter a magical cupboard which takes you to the party place... Yes, I understand some of you were frightened of the local population - and some of you didn't take too kindly to the EasyHotel, but I think overall it was a good experience for all of us!

@dotwaffle: Let's face it, none of us do normal society that well... :)

Ah, back home!

I must say - this has been one of the best weekends in recent memory. It felt so great to be back in Britain and meet all of you guys again. Met new people, had some very nice conversations and drank way too much stale ale!

Also - I guess Sunrise redefined the Hotelscene - and I've got the photo to prove it!

Anyway, this has been so much fun that I totally forgot to flip the switch for the tUM 2011 website. I guess I'll do that right away.</shameless-advertising>
