However, since it is a fresh & new project we can expect even more groundbreaking features, which might include:

-scenepoint sponsoring for releases
-scenepoint admiration group at g+
-extra scenepoints for promoting your mates (or mum) to join scenepoints as well
-highscore list
-free booze when reaching 1337 and 31337
-annual insider magazine for members only (printed on HQ glossy paper)
-export and import of scenepoints from and to qr codes
-discount bus trip to the next party (***** bus with bar on board)
-annual penalty for not spending scenepoints (go partying or help your buddies, sucker)

What other benefits can you think of?

i want a rule stating that girls don't get free scenepoints, and appropriate exceptions.

if this is taken with a good sense of humour and designed the way that the people how dont have a lot of money but a lot of love for the scene are the ones that profit from this, it could even work out and be cool.

if this is going to be (another) way of showing how elite you are and how much you are able to spend for scene-related stuff, the idea is dead already.

if its just a joke, well it at least made for a discussion ;)

oh, just use a modified bitcoint client for them and you already have your working infrastructure :P

I did however think that the fact that whoever made this took the trouble of registering a domain and designed a quasi-nice site to go with it, lent it some credibility. So I did take it seriously. Only, not. You know what I mean.
