his point about scene girls is pointless. I mean, people showing interest for demoparties are welcome no matter if they contribute or not. Remember, the demoscene is not just about showing off, but watching stuff others make. If you cant compete, but find joy in watching compos and speaking to sceners, thats more than enough reason for going to a demoparty.
And second, alcohol rules, so does slengpung. so shut up and take a bun

boohoo, mr lancaster discovered that the scene is changing/dying/metamorphing and he wants the old days back. now, thats new and grand. really an observant and original young man.
apart from his somewhat whining attitude, it reminds me of the last 10-20 issues of the Eurochart on amiga, which features lots of "whats wrong with the scene" and so on. Quite tiring really, although i can agree on the emphasis on there being too many pictures of the same people on slengpung. but then again, who gives a shit, its a freaking picture archive. theres even a picture of my ass on there, and im not even elite, apart from my academical arrogance which is only displayed on university.
the scene might be going to hell, or it might not, but shut up, and enjoy it, you freaking idiots. soon you will be old, sad, tired and bitter, just like me.
