oh.. and my group JiNX won demo compos at Coven 97, 98 and 2000. While the scene is diluted, I wouldn't consider it weak. We have to battle with beaches and sunshine.. ;)
Derbias, just so you get the point - a demoparty in aus isn't particularly an everyday thing, and syntax is sure to be totally cool. even if you live in Perth I assure you it's totally worth the money and effort. You're going to hate yourself for not going if you decide it's too far :-)

Someone should organise some kind of perth pubmeet soon *hint hint* and i should start making something for Nullarbor soon.....
We will most likely organise a Melbourne pubmeet at some point too. Probably make it the kick on from the "demos-on-the-beach" Demoshow we are planning for mid to late March ;-) We'll keep you posted.
