NHibernate anyone?
category: code [glöplog]
My gf is working on a project that involves database access using NHibernate. Does anybody have any useful hints or tutorials to get started (apart from what can be easily found using Google)?
Not me ;)
Sorry, not me. I'm sure mrs. Braun will find what she needs.
i'll ask my imaginary dog the moment i find him...
Maali: is that dog by any chance named BLONDI? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blondi

what else do you need?
at work we only use the online documentation and the book "java persistence with hibernate" (ok, that's java, but for the concept.... who cares).
oh yeah, and some blogs.

My gf seems to currently have some problems with multiple properties acting as the primary key. How to implement that?
oh, man. this so much reminds me of the typical "i have a friend who has a problem with his xyz ..."

I love how this statement says: "I know answers can be found easily on Google, I just choose to come here instead".Does anybody have any useful hints or tutorials to get started (apart from what can be easily found using Google)?
rasmus: Your "friend" should see a doctor before his xyz falls off!
Try asking at http://stackoverflow.com/, lots of expertise there
what's the IQ of your girlfriend btw?
♻: I guess that depends - is a Real Doll an actual person?
promising thread!
A real doll that programs databases in java.. that's actually believable. Scary.

I'm actually wondering how come nobody winced on the "my girlfriend" ...
kaneel: well, I did suggest "she" was a sex-toy.. I'd say that counts :)
I think everybody just naturally assumed she was imaginary or rubber. I still reckon she's called Eva either way.
So evil.
Anyway, asking at a NHibernate community rather than this here would be a better place to start.

cg: you're assuming the goal is to get information about NHibernate, rather than troll pouet ;)
here is the best place to discuss imaginary girlfriends, NHibernate is a lure
