Jepp, mp3 playback usually needs the all the CPU power, but since the GP32 can be safely overclocked from 40 to about 150-180, perhaps it's possible. Currently, most games/demos use tracked formats like XM.

dixan, no mp3s in gp32 games... for the cpu-hungry arcade game i did just a multichannel mods (8ch ifair), and an xm for the stupid puzzle. =)

it's still too expensive and there's too less good reasons for me to get one. =)

Oh yeah ravity, the DS is great, it does have... a... err... free development kit as well as the GP32... for everyone. Yeah. And an established scene with thousands of productions... and... it's open source and stuff. And Nintendo doesn't sue you for using their libraries. Yeah. And the DS is sooo well documentated, concerning how to develop on it. *nods*
