picking on scamp while he´s just been trying to correct some misinformations isnt the way to go aswell ! ( wasnt him alone, but without him those BPs wouldnt have happened at all! so he knows more than anywhom else if a party will success! )
maybe he used some words that didnt sound correct, but fact is: ppl COULD have known of there´ll be another party at Easter-Weekend by just joining some irc or reading some bbs here.

a party does not HAVE to be in germany, but we had that discussion a lot already and its almost all the time the same consense: "germany is close to all the demoscening_countries, atleast in europe" ...
and about what confession a scener has: doesnt matter at all, a demo cant be a demo without music || grafix || code ! so i consider this a bad_question !

leijaa: Yes, Bobic sure just might be retard who got everything completely wrong. While he appears to be extremely talented in getting this wrong, he's not the only one who recently appeared to be confused.

I'm positive that you are able to help to reduce this confusion. I'm positive that things can be communicated in a way that nobody will ask me anymore if "I'm now doing Breakpoint in Norway".

kepler: I do think you are the only one in this thread who believes that when I'm talking about a "stinking freezing shed" I'm referring to an actual shed.

I admittedly asked on IRC if eastergarden was a bp replacement. Although in all honesty, it wasn't like I was asking seriously, but asking in an intrigued "What the fuck, are they trying to be a cheap-shot breakpoint replacement?!". Still, should a party be on at Easter, that doesn't mean it's going to be a bp replacement. I know you're all not that dense, but feel like I should maybe point out the above just to be sure.

To be honest I am split on this one. It is very cool that we get Eastergarden - but I have no idea what it is yet.. so in that sense both the alleged German party and Eastergarden are still tied :)

If there is a big party in Germany, I would personally probably prefer to go there. First of all it´s a good roadtrip. Secondly, they have cheap and awesome beer. Thirdly.. it would guarantee that I would not need to enter the main hall at Vikingskipet..which depressed me the last time I was there. And fourth.. Okkie will be there!

So I look forward to seeing some open cards from the two organizers, instead of wasting time ganging up on Scamp who is only defending the work he and his horde put in for us all these years.

scamp: i'm perfectly aware you don't mean it literally. but i still find it stupid and pretty low of you to criticize TG/Eastergarden using lame stereotypes like igloos (you should atleast try to get it right; we have laplanders not eskimos). and why do you feel the need to call it a cold, stiking shed anyway? are you afraid demosceners will actually go to this party? is that why you need to describe it in a negative manner? do you feel threathened by a norwegian shed next to gamerparty?

You've probably done much good for the demoscene. I don't doubt that. and i respect it. but there's no excuse for acting like an idiot anyway.
