haujobb?

category: general [glöplog]
Just heard that haujobb members left the scene or left the group and haujobb ist almost dead now.
First I didn't believe but on www.haujobb.cjb.net they say it themselves.

Why that happened? I really like the haujobb productions and I will miss them on partys in the future.

Have any members already joined other groups?

I think all members have joined a group called (ex)haujobb :=)

"droid/unique&(ex)haujobb"

So you left haujobb for joining unique? are you working on a new production for unique?

I didn't leave haujobb, I'm still there.

and no I'm not yet working on any production for unique, since they seem to have plenty of talented coders already. I'm more like trying to fit in at the moment

But, please tell me, why you all decided to leave or to stop being active? Did you already think about leaving for a longer time or happened something special at the Mekka party?

maybe they don't know themselves yet :)
my guess is that they decided to dissolve haujobb while they were drunk at m&s, and now noone can remember why actually decided to do it ;)

a big FUCK YOU to all enviers and haters, especially drstranger here on pouet, all who mobbed haujobb out the scene. without haujobb demos and haujobb spirit, the pc and amiga scene will experience a big loss. the whole anti-haujobb-bias in the last time - it was like rabbits trying to disturb an elephant. but "der klügere gibt nach"... in a half a year or so, you will all want haujobb back, remember my words.

A BIG FAT FUCK YOU in return dipswitch.

Why would I want haujobb back? I mean, it's not like they all jumped off a building when they disbanded. Most people went to their roots (legend design) and others joined various groups. I'm sure they'll compensate perfectly for the lack of HJB releases, thank you very much.

Get a grip, you drunk german! ;)

i second shifters comment.

dipswitch, why dont you start you own HJB if you know you're going to miss them so much? :)

nobody can and nobody will compensate that huge hole we now have into scene. thats my opinion!

I really love haujobb and followed them from amiga days on in 1994 or 1995. tell me one group to compare with this. many came, much have gone. now also haujobb. I will really miss them!

I've liked most of Haujobb's production, including the Amiga demos, but if they want to dissolve the group it's entirely their choice. It's pretty obvious the members who wish to remain active are moving elsewhere, so their skills/talents are not going to waste or anything.

And it's not as if the catalogue of Haujobb productions are going to vanish into thin air. They'll be available for download in many years to come.

I dont' see a 'big hole' in the scene, just a bit of personnel shuffling. Happens all the time...
.. dipswitch we love you! :)
talk to tobi if you want to find out.

I know I will get flamed for saying for this, but I'm actually glad about this news. I've never liked Haujobb prods except for a couple and it seems to me they've usually ranked too high in parties.

No, I personally that most of their prods KICKED ass. It's pretty sad :( I already want Haujobb back

i bet al you folks are also still mourning over the big loss of pulse and bomb and future crew and and and. open your eyes. nothing has changed.

In Future Crew times, I only had an amiga. I saw these Future Crew demos and never liked them, sorry. That was no loss I think... ;)

boom, the main point of my message was "nothing has changed", not "did you also regret future crew dissolve?"

Nice comparison though, Eggbird. FC and Haujobb sure are akin (they were great, and everybody hated them for it anyway) ;)

I miss FC :-( and Pulse. and bomb. and [b]god[/] I miss Orange.

I dont think Haujobb quit the scene. It's never over until it's over. When it is over, everyone is just going to move on. And all their productions are going to be lurking in our harddisks for us to watch.

i loved most of haujobb demos, but i don't think it really will leave a big hole in scene if they quit. There's other really good demogroups too.
