How is it possible to get burn in on an LCD?
It's not called burn in, but it happens all the time. The LCD cells can get halfway stuck in a certain state if they're left in it for a very long time (Windows task bar, Office toolbars, etc.) It's rarely permanent, though, and you can "massage" it away by running epileptic demos.
I heard you can also fix it by displaying a white screen for some minutes.
Or the guy is wrong and its a plasma :(
