Upgraded DSL connection as of 9/1/09

Haciend is back as of yesterday.

I wasn't going to mention it, but it seems whenever DonDog does something with Uzi Suicide, I do something with Haciend. And Namey is wondering when El Topo will join Global War.

So for future: if DonDog does something, we did something also, visit both of us.

Now if I only knew my 15 year old password...

well as long as people still make c64 demos too why not give everyone what they want? :)

wow ... just fired up good ol' DC Telnet on my big machine and browsed through Amiga conference :D

it's so awesome. i already found tons of lost demo and bbs modding releases. so cool to have the board around with its hsitoric filebase intact!

corona lock down seem to have made many ami/x sysops nostalgic.... right now, several other legendary boards are back on telnet and/or ssh, including masturbation station, death row, fastline, sanctuary, the northern palace, the yard, hidden power, etc. etc.
what a trip down memory lane - and what a cool opportunity to browse through old filebases and rescue files for demoscene preservation.

That's true. I think that in the mid 90s the BBS scene was not really dead yet, and the Internet was not so widely spread and still young. Thus, both medias were not cosidering the preservation aspects. First - not dead yet, second - still very young in developpement, serving new stuff in a brand new way. So in conlcusion it created kinda a "generation gap" thus a lot of stuff got most probably lost...
