I've never been a fan of MJ, but I cannot deny the brilliance that is Quincy Jones. The MJ songs he wrote and produced are undeniable classics whether I like them or not.
people had to create the music for those songs. you can't just pass down lyrics and shit and expect them to perform themselves. but, still maybe they both need credit. because, i have a feeling quincy jones won't be living to much longer either.

are you saying that michael brought nothing to thriller? come on.

FYI: Thriller itself was written by Rod Temperton. Billie Jean and Beat It were both written by Jackson.

QJ produced the whole album, but he is only credited as songwriter on one song (Pretty Young Thing).

So STFU.

anikirob: and which MJ songs Quincy wrote? On the Thriller album he co-wrote (=rearranged heavily) "P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)"

But Rod Temperton is the man. Off the wall, Rock with you and Thriller. 'Nuff said.

Actually, I never thought Michael was guilty, myself. Just a really sad troubled man. Of course, neither me or any of the people who vilified him really have any clue about the man, just what we saw in the media, so really, who are we to judge?

Besides, i'm a very strong believer in the principle of innocent until proven guilty.

tbh I couldt give a toss about any famous pop-star, or media personality in general, dying. I mean, apart from making a few songs that we listen to occasionally, these people are not a part of our lives. They're not our friends and they never even knew of our individual existence. I care about Micheal Jackson's death about as much as I cared about Jade Goody's death.

Nice music, now dead and RIP. End of story. :P

xeron: he did pay for a familty to STFU about certain things involving wine, kids and pills. Why do you think he went to live in Bahrein for a few years? He was a jazz musician after all.

He paid them to shut up, which means he was either guilty and afraid of the bad publicity, or he was innocent and afraid of the bad publicity.

Bad publicity? Even more? Did he really need help for that?

its always terrible if someone dies. its always the same, the higher someone rises in fame, the chance is that he fall after that way way deeper.
