On topic: Those banners looked like they were advertising Brainstorm the group rather than the events Brainstorm was organizing. (Brainstorm's 20th birthday free beer, Xerxes & Romeo Knight & Bendik live, Zine)

main, why do you think those banners says "we're awesome!!"? those of you who think so must have some issues that needs to be resolved. this is all about having fun.. and making the most of being old but still being in a demogroup.
we understand now that some of you disliked this very much - point is taken, and we will not do anything like that again.
actually I liked it very much. more groups should do this. I hate attention whores et al. but it's really nice to do some advertisement and some old school banner / sticker jobs.
I liked the BRS-slides alot - added some more color to the whole slide-theme and I think others should do the same.
Additionally make yourself a small poster to hang on the wall; like we did :)

I've also got to admit that I was a bit puzzled asking myself "what does brainstorm have to do with xerxes & romeo knight playing at breakpoint?" etc, but it has been far from getting on my nerves etc.
Anyway, the message that Brainstorm is back in business has been received by everyone now, so focus more on your excellent releases instead of marketing and all will be fine I guess.

scamp, we are brainstorm members. all the visuals and pre-planning stuff is handled by axel. hence a brainstorm production. i dont see any problems doing scene things as a group effort.
but we HAVE UNDERSTOOD that you dont like our banners. so we will not do anything remotly close to that again unless we can use the one maali just made? :)

slight correction to what xerxes said: the visuals were made by Psykon/Mercury, but with graphics made by prm, ivy and Yes, all BRS members. So I think it's fair to link it to our group, because it was a group effort. But nobody cares anyway I guess. :)
we don't. so go the fuck out and prepare the Xerxes & Romeoknight Concert for Breakpoint 2010! :P
btw, while we're at it, i've wondered for a while now about a little something: what does it mean when somebody is credited as the "producer" in a demo?
