What are your favourite movies?
category: general [glöplog]
Magnolia and Dancer in the dark, though I also really like Pi, Fight Club, Happiness, American Beauty, Amelie and many others.
don't forget about wild zero! zombies, transvestites, aliens, rock n'roll, motorcykles.. does it get any better?
werewolves on wheels is also very nice and I hear anton lavey was hired as a consultant for the satanist scenes.

I'd also like to mention that it's weird that I didn't see Requiem for a dream or Memento mentioned. I haven't seen either yet (I'd probably like them) and they're often on people's movie lists.
It's possible that someone mentioned them but I missed them, but I'd have expected that at least Requiem gets about as many mentions as Fight Club and the likes.

Killer Drag Queens On Dope

Oh yes, add Memento to my list.

diamondie has leading with requiem for a dream.
'once upon a time in the west' is one i got into recently.
Also better add 'bad taste' somewhere, and more akira kurosawa films are surely needed on these pages, especially 'throne of blood', 'rashomon' and 'yojimbo'.

you should read more carefully: both was mentioned before...
me, for example, i just forgot 'requiem' (and, unfortunately, i haven't seen 'memento' yet, although i always wanted to)
and, there are so fuckin many good films :)
metro, mulholland drive, jackie brown, pulp fiction are a few i forgot to mention above

Yep, I'll definitely second Mulholland Drive too.
"The girl on the brige" ("La femme sur le pont") are nice to, by the way...Have you seen it ?
When it comes to cult movies / B-movies I like:
Killbots (Chopping Mall)
Killer Klowns from Outer Space
Stacy: Attack of the schoolgirl zombies

Stapelfahrer Klaus! \o/
Happened to see that by accident without having ever heard of it when they showed it before some screening at the Helsinki International Film Festival in 2002. Absolutely hilarious, don't think I've often laughed that hard :D

Hey,. these B-Movies titles made me laugh alone =)
I haven't seen B-Movies really (or perhaps I might have witnessed some of them when I was younger but I just don't know it), should I? Would be fun :)
I like Monty Pythons, have seen "quest for the holy grail" a lot of times and "the life of brian" twice in a friend of mine. What always makes me smile is the final song "Always see the bright side of life". I lately downloaded the MP3 and listen to this instead of Anathema sometimes, hahaha ;)
