True story:
Yesterday evening I was bored and listened to some demoscene music when it hit "[aMUSiC and Leviathan] - Amphetamine Tears", the mad guitar part made me move my cat as if he was playing an imaginary guitar (grabbing his paws and moving them.. you can tell I was very bored), while thinking "Why can only the cat play an imaginary guitar?". I tossed him aside and grabbed my keyboard FoF style with the music.
Then I thought, "Wouldn't it be cool if it was an actual 'level' in the game?" and then the light bulb lit! I remembered FoF had a built in level editor!
after around 4 hours of fun, I present you Iconoclast - FoF Edition.
I'm not a musician, and not an artist of any kind, so the result sucked so bad until it made me press escape and sell my keyboard on eBay.
Now I encourage you - pouet user - to create/edit more levels of awesome demoscene music - so you too can be the demoscene hero!

...but i like FoF and i think its a nice Idea to port some Demoscene-Muzak.!

I really hoped this was gonna be a great and moving story about DDT saving some kids from drowning or something..
I think I tried that in-game FoF song editor.. I was really disappointed in it :). Is anyone aware of a better editor for editing timing/synchronization points? I think it would be easier to set the markers in better software and then write a converter to the FoF file format.
The notes file is actually a midi file...
You forgot the [optimus] tag[/optimus].

LiraNuna, although under normal circumstances I'd admire your courage to actually sit and write the songdata for a FoF version of Amphetamine Tears, the fact that you do have separate guitar and song tracks in your release makes me think otherwise.
The only way to have separate guitar and song tracks is to have the source files for the track. And these source files exist only in my pc and my pc alone.
The REAL true story about the FoF version of Amphetamine tears is that it took more than 4 hours to be made.. about 2 years or so ago, in aMUSiC's room made by yours trully, and then uploaded it to the keyboards on fire site.
Since then I've seen the track being featured in FoF song pack torrents and other locations on the internet, but so far I've never witnessed someone trying to take the credit for it.
And really.. if you did actually have the stamina and will to actually make a FoF version of Amphetamine Tears, all you'd have to do would be to ask me to give you the separate tracks, but nooo you just had to take a two year old fof-versioned track and claimed it as your own work..
And what really strikes me as impressive is that you actually boasted about it on pouet.. that was like.. uh.. DUDE!..

did you try to hit NOT ONLY the F-Buttons but also the ENTER-Key at the same time ? ENTER = picking...so you are able to switchFingers on F-Keys even before the Note approaches.
about the syncing...there are some options to fix the delay...
